Bison Wallowing Hole
This large exposed part of the hillside in the tallgrass prairie serves as the a mud pit for the local population of American Bison that call the Konza home. The Bison opened up this wallowing pit that dates before the departure of the indigenous heard to the Flinthills area. The reopening of lost wallowing hole is a common occurrence with Bison returning to native land, as they can sense where long used pits lie.
